If you love to sing Christmas songs, this is the show for you. Union Street Players are having auditions for their next production, “A Tinkerman’s Christmas Eve” in the Joan Kuyper-Farver Auditorium at the Pella Community Center. Auditions will be Thursday, Sept 15 at 6:30 PM and Saturday, Sept 17 at 9:30 AM. There are parts for one girl (approx 6 years old), one boy (approx age 9 – 10) and several adults ages 18 and up. Written and directed by local author and USP Walk of Fame member, Beverly Graves, the show is a timely, heartwarming, family Christmas story filled with music and songs. The Tinkermans gather together, but are sorely missing one of their family members who is serving overseas in the military. This simple but charming story is woven around all of your favorite Christmas songs, from children’s numbers, old standards, contemporary tunes, and traditional hymns.
