Union Street Players’ production of Gilbert and Sullivan’s Pirates of Penzance is in full production. Director Spence Ver Meer has his crew working hard as they prepare for the show’s performances July 30-August 2nd at 7:00 p.m. with a special Sunday afternoon matinee on August 3rd at 2:00 p.m.
Tickets for the show are available M-F (7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.) at the offices of the Pella Community Center, 712 Union Street (click here and scroll to the bottom of the page for directions). Tickets may also be ordered over the phone using a credit card starting July 1st by calling 641-620-9107 (Tom or Wendy Vander Well). Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door. Children and students with a valid I.D. receive $2 off the normal ticket price.
CHANGE TO TICKET POLICY
Because of the number of tickets that, in the past, have been reserved and then left unclaimed at the door, Union Street Players regrets that we can no longer hold tickets without pre-payment. Those who wish to call for tickets ahead of time will be required to purchase them using Visa, Mastercard or Discover. Your paid-in-full tickets will then be waiting for you at the door of the performance. Those with coupons or vouchers are encouraged to pick up their tickets in advance at the Community Center offices or redeem them at the door.
